To register, call the number on the signpost. Access control guides you to your destination. Port of Tolkkinen is located in Porvoo, only about 5.5 kilometres from the Helsinki-Kotka motorway (E18). The port is well connected by road to the rest of Finland and to central industrial areas. The fairway is open all year round and the adjacent busy oil port of Sk\u00f6ldvik helps to keep ice conditions favourable. Vessels required to use pilotage take pilotage at 60 02,60&#8242; N \/ 25 33,80&#8242; Em\u00e4salon N pilot station. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>The pilot is ordered by the vessel or its representative. The shipowner, the shipper, the receiver or their representatives must give advance notice of the expected vessel\/cargo as early as possible and no later than approximately one week before sailing, in order to organise the berthing of the vessel and the handling of the cargo. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>The vessel or its representative entering the port must give advance notice of its arrival as early as possible, but no later than 24 hours before the vessel&#8217;s arrival.
